My name is Shruti Puranik, Experience working in healthcare industry developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, ReactJS and JQuery. I am a curious and enthusiast graduate student, pursuing Masters in Information Technology and Management from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago (May 2018). I am currently working at Complia Health, Schaumburg-IL as Web Developer Intern
For the last few years, I've been focussing on Web-based Application Development. I keep developing these skills and interests in my personal projects. I enjoy working in a challenging environment where I can continue to learn, take additional responsibilities and contribute as much as I can.

My design process always starts with pencil and paper scribbling ideas and concept, thinking about the problem and the solution.I've released my own web application: Travelopedia developed using C#, ASP.NET, Angular JS. It's an application to book flights, hotels, cars and events.
Travelopedia is a smart travel guide which provides centralized system to personalize your trip by picking your favorite place, booking flight tickets, hotels, cars and events book them all from our application.
Performed Unit testing, API testing using Selenium tool

Wordsworth is an online ecommerce book store where customer can view and buy the products by placing an order. The project includes complete form validation, inventory management, employee and admin roles with responsive user interface. Included Junit testing with detailed test cases.
SHA-256 alogrithm was implemented using Google's Guava Library. SHA 256 used advanced hashing technique which cannot be decrypted easily. It makes the website secure.
Designed a web application which allows user to login and upload the slides in any format and also download the slides it also allows the user to view the slides uploaded by other users.
Application was built with a purpose to help students to view or search for specific slides be it a technology, education, Social topics and many more. User friendly UI was developed using HTML CSS and used MySQL to store the slides and JSP Servlet to fetch data from the database.
Med-Ex tracker aplication using concepts of Human Computer Interaction Introduction to the Product
MED-EX is a convenient medical expense tracker, that allows any user to enter total medical expenses occurred which include procedural costs, insurance coverage costs, deductibles paid, amount paid by self and most importantly verifies the balance to be paid by the user.
Goals accomplished by the Team: Buy Medical Insurance, Book Doctors Appointment, Track Medical Expenses.
Feed My Starving Children® is a Christian non-profit committed to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit.
Recently participated at a Feed My Starving Children event where we hand-packed food into bags that were shipped to the neediest children around the world. The team contributed to packing 144 boxes which equals 31,104 meals. This feeds 85 kids for a year!

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Puranik at the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions, Illinois Institute of Technology from January-August of 2017, and found her to be an excellent colleague. She managed the Center's web sites and did an excellent job, keeping this running smoothly, fixing bugs that came up, and even coming in on weekends when troubleshooting was needed.
